AÇÃO DIRETA "revolta-repudio-confronto-resistencia" CD $8... 5th full length attack from Ação Direta is the fastest, heaviest and merciless that they ever done. They´re one of the best brazilian bands with 13 years of activities on their baggage. Toured Europe three times and some overseas releases made the band very well known all over the world with their typical brazilian hardcore style mixed with brutal heavyness. CORRUPTED “Se Hace Por Los Suenos Asesinos” CD…$14 Massively loud and perplexingly heavy, HUGE slabs of downtuned guitars, black tar melodies, jagged limb smashing drumming, and bass so low it seems to loosen the earth's crust around you. The final track picks up the pace, to barely midtempo, but certainly a breakneck speed for a lumbering behemoth like the Corrupted. Vocals in Spanish (as always), Corrupted is like a ultra grim, creepily acoustic Neurosis, all stripped down and stretched out. (HG FACT/ JAPAN)

DOWN IN FLAMES - What The Fuck CD...$7 This is their best release to date by far. The songs fly by at 1000 mph, with quick time changes, screamed vocals and an occasional breakdown. They have really come into their own on this full length, showing that they can blaze through an LPs worth of material and leave your ears smoking. THE GITS "frenching the bully" CD $10... Frenching the Bully is the first full length studio album put out by The Gits. It was first released in 1992 . This album is raw, intense, angry, tender and passionate punk. It has been out of print since 1994.(BROKEN REKIDS/US)

HARUM-SCARUM "mental health" LP/ CD...$8... This is Harum-Scarum's first LP, when they still had Erin singing which gave the songs a terror-stricken possessed sort of feel. It's her harsh deep growly voice that distinguishes this record from the second, but the music itself is what it continued to be on the second record... melodic fast to mid-tempo punk influenced by early 80s UK peace punk with each member contributing vocally. HARUM-SCARUM " the last light" LP/ CD... $8...The third LP by these Portland punks. KURUMA BAKUDAN "gaijin decline"... CD $90... spastic and original POLITICAL HC from this SPANISH SINGING french band...all over the place brutality... had a record on BAD CARD around 5 years ago. (DESOBEDIENCIS RECORDS/ US)

MELLAKKA "R.I.P. recordings 1984-1986" CD...$12 Mellakka produced two of my favorite Finnish hardcore records of all time. Brilliant. This CD compiles their 2 EPs, and an unreleased demo that was recorded after their two vinyl releases. Ei ep ('84 EIEI001), Itsenaisyyspaiva ep ('85 RAT002) and 3-song demo('86 god001). If you don't own any of their records, this CD is essential... and if you're as big of a fan as I am, you need it for the unreleased demo tracks. Vinyl version soon to be out on PARTNERS IN CRIME!! MORTE ASCETA s/t CDep $5... This band plays like Poison Idea (kings of punk era) with a Black Flag touch. Rage screaming hardcore. You can also feel some Black Sabbath here and there. Awesome! (PECULIO DISCOS, BRAZIL)

NIGHTMARE "early years" CD... $15 ...if there ever was a reason to buy a CD this is a good one. Included on said CD is some of the best Japanese HC to ever exist... Thier long gone masterpiece of the first 12" "GIVE NOTICE OF NIGHTMARE.." and the great tracks from "v/a EYE OF THE THRASH GUERRILLA" and the SPLIT with CONCRETE SOX ...essential for fans of the best HC music ever. NIGHTMARE "scatterraw" CD - $15... Brand new recordings from Japanese HC legends NIGHTMARE! many of you may know them from the early Selfish records stuff... or the Bloodsucker eps. Anyhow, here we have 8 songs recorded at OUR HOUSE studio in Tokyo. Blazing HC mixed with some Stooges-esque guitars. Also no saxaphone on this recording. Great stuff. NITROMINDS "something to believe" CD $9.. After their release on Deepsix recs this brazilian power trio strikes again with a new full-length album. This is the perfect union of HC from the 80´s with a melodic touch. (PECULIO DISCOS, BRAZIL)

NO HOPE FOR THE KIDS CD…$10 Here’s the CD version! No Hope for the Kids feature former members of Amde Petersen's Arme and Young Wasteners, and just like those bands No Hope for the Kids make you think that it's Los Angeles 1979 all over again. THE OBSERVERS "So What's Left Now?" $10 CD... One of Portland's best bands right now... A head-on crash of the darker side of punk rock that combines the more melancholic and demented aspects of Portlands past colliding with Old LA punk. hmmm... i dont really know how to describe this with out sounding cheesy... sort of Wipers meets The Cheifs meets Descendents or something....just get it already. POISON GIRLS "Statement" 4x CD boxset $27 ...Poison Girls limited edition four CD box set, Statement which contains the complete recordings made by the group between 1977 and 1989 which is five LPs, eight EPs and singles, plus seven previously unreleased songs. Also enclosed in the box are two booklets, one outlining the story of the band, which features rare photos and press cuttings plus interviews with Vi and Richard, and a lyric booklet called Words Written In Trust.(COOKING VINYL/ UK)

RATOS DE PORAO " live at CBGB's" CD $9 This is the brazilian´s hardcore masterpiece Ratos de Porão recording live at CBGB on their first US appearance back in 2000. Sounds powerfull and loud like the strong CB´s PA . The recording includes the complete live set that they played on that date. Compiles all the periods of the band since songs from their first albums (back to early/mid 80´s) until the last releases on Alternative Tentacles, as well as their 90´s crossover days." SELFISH "cry for love, cry for death" CD...$9...Finland's Selfish have been around for over 10 years & their sound has really changed a lot in that time-- from raw, d-beat crust to Japanese influenced hardcore. This release compiles tracks from previously released but out of print material-- two 7"s, a split 7", and various comp tracks. All 12 tracks are remastered, and artwork from Japanese artist Sugi. SONGS FOR EMMA " red lies and black rhymes"...CD...$8 the new one by these SAN FRANCISCO punks... fronted by the gravely voiced TOMMY STRANGE... these are great sincere anarcho punk rock tunes... with well written, inspiring lyrics...dealing with capitalism and its effects on our society... but in a way that really touches me... more people should really check out this band... ex-members of A.P.P.L.E. and STRAWMAN(BROKEN REKIDS)

PFC had the good sense and taste to bring us all this fantastic Japanese HC goody... fucking great Japanese hardcore with gasoline swallowing vocals and raging guitars...This is Soulcraft's first full length...13 tracks of non stop madness, and it includes a great Gastunk cover!( Putrid Filth Conspiracy/ Sweden)

URANUS “TO THIS BEARER OF TRUTH” Discography CD $9.00 RE-STOCK ( had these back in for awhile... guess we forgot to re list it! oops) "This band , for better or worse, changed the path, and the pattern of modern hardcore. How to describe this? Chaos, fury, emotional strife, and a paranoid fear of a technocratic future all blended with a musical delivery that is equivalent to total sonic insanity. This gives many people a chance to save some money and have all of their output on a Cd and makes for the return of a great Canadian band long since dead. THIS IS THE FIRST RELEASE ...zeriod features many of the members that formed Jeniger (had a release on skuld)... this is similar to that, only a bit more dynamic or epic... compare to URANUS or SYSTRAL ETC... BEAUTIFUL PACKAGING, AND THICK VINYL... COOL RELEASE ON A COLL NEW LABEL...(UNSOCIABLE RECORDS/GERMANY)

ZEROID "2004" LP/ CD...$11 Zeroid is really technical, intense and loud with brutal drumming. Maybe a little Kylesa, Neurosis in addition to Uranus... but darker. No sludge just mayhem. (HATE, PER KORO split release/ GERMANY)

J CHURCH/ STORM THE TOWER split LP/CD $9/ $10 This new J CHURCH/STORM THE TOWER split may seem a strange coupling on the surface but it's really not. J CHURCH relocated to Austin TX and is now Lance Hahn with 2 members of STORM THE TOWER. The J CHURCH tracks recorded in a real recording studio in Austin Texas, are the first new true studio recordings released by the band in the past 2 years. The 5 J CHURCH tracks have the usual melody and introspective lyrics of J CHURCH blended with the brutal rhythmic onslaught of SORM THE TOWER.
