GUDON "1984-1990" 2XLP-$13... Well, its finally out!!! 2XLP of almost all GUDON'S material...Sadly their flexi was left off by the bands request. Blazing Japanese HC/PUNK from the mid 80's. One of my favorites, and (in my opinion) one of the most underated Japanese HC bands. Members went on to be in lots of more great bands... noteably JUDGEMENT and BASTARD, ETC, limited to 1000 copies, Full color extra thick gatefold sleeves w/ SUGI artwork throughout, COLOR VINYL (limited to 150 copies) available through BRICKWALL only. HARUM-SCARUM " the last light" LP/CD... $9...The third LP by these Portland punks. Harum-Scarum has been playing politically charged, blazingly melodic and driving HC punk for over six years...Passionate yet angry, political lyrics and message. Beautiful cover art by Lydia Crumbly. KRUW "the punx" EP $4...Ten bucks says you will fall in love with Osaka City punkers KRUW just as we did when we heard their CDR on Bakuretsu Records from JAPAN. This band has a kind of energy that I can't really even describe. It's energy in a way which you rarely hear anymore. It's not energy from distortion, or over- production, or even from the masterful musicianship... these songs explode. For fans of early 80s fast and sloppy punk and HC... Not a comparison here, but I believe fans of early Japanese punk will love this. I know I do... everything from the out of tune guitars, to the wonderful artwork... this is brilliant punk rock. With all the hype about "D BEAT" floating around at the moment...seems like most have missed the mark...WARCRY nailed it. lets see if anyone notices this slab of perfectly charged punk in the Swedish DISCHARGE tradition...(PARTNERS IN CRIME)
